Bolsover: Residents urged to take advantage of free wellbeing checks for dogs
Last year 466 dogs received free microchips and 264 animals received free pet health checks across Bolsover District Council and North East Derbyshire District Council areas and they have once again joined forces with the PDSA to offer these services to local dog owners.
The PDSA Health Check Roadshow will offer free wellbeing checks for dogs – including weight, eyes, teeth, ears, coat condition and general fitness, all undertaken by an experienced veterinary nurse.

Bolsover council cabinet member for the environment, Coun Dennis Kelly, said: “These roadshows are extremely popular with our local residents.”
“It gives people the chance to get their pets health checked out, have a chat with the professionals about any concerns they have and also pick up some useful tips on animal behaviour and ownership – all free of charge.”
The roadshow will be at Bolsover Business Park on Woodhouse Lane on Tuesday, 20th May from 10am to 5pm.
