Misterton: A fundraiser from Misterton was among the thousands taking part in the Memory Walk
Walkers warmed up with a mass Zumba workout before actress Vicky McClure, whose grandmother has dementia, officially started the event.
The actress, who has starred in This Is England, Broadchurch and Line of Duty was joined by her nephew Kai in the ribbon cutting.

Dawn Harrison from Misterton was among those supporting the event.
Dawn said: “For me, this walk is about memories of my Dad who had dementia and all the people that I’ve met personally and professionally over the years from this illness.”
“It’s encouraging and it’s heart warming to see such a varied age range of people taking part.”
