County bronze for Danny Scott after half marathon display
Danny Scott also picked up a gold standard from Clowne Road Runners own club standards awards.
Not to be out done Clowne’s specialist ultra runner Daniel Page completed the Druid Challenge, an 84-mile race over three days.

Hide AdThe race takes you from Ivinghoe in Buckinghamshire to Swindon and includes two over night stops in Watlington and Wantage.
The race is run along the oldest roadway in the UK dating back to 3000BC.
Page’s first stage was completed in 3hrs 49mins covering 29 miles, the second day Saturday 28.4 miles covered in 3hrs 36mins and finishing on Sunday 26.61 miles in 3hrs 21mins, giving him fourth place.
The ever popular 5km Park run’s saw Louise Lowe break the 20 minute barrier with a personal best of 19.32 finishing first lady home.

Clowne’s Half Marathon race takes place on Sunday 24th November, starting from and finishing at the Clowne Community Centre.
The race is full and Clowne can expect around 750 runners and supporters converging on the community centre.
Hot and cold food is available and a full bar from 11am.
The fun run will start at 10.05am and is a 1.2km race which is ideal for smaller children and parents and they will receive a bottle of Ribena and a medal for finishing.
The marshal’s meeting takes place on Friday 15th November at 7.30pm.
