AS CHAIRMAN of the Butterfly Hospice Trust I am writing to give you a short update on our progress.
As we need to fit in with both national and local strategy for end of life care, we have been waiting for the Lord Darzi report and the NHS End of Life Care strategy.

The National End of Life Care strategy came out last week and we are now awaiting the Primary Care Trust strategy for Lincolnshire.

After exploring all options for service delivery the trustees are now in the process of producing a business case for submission to the Primary Care Trust for consideration in September.

However, our intention to build remains the same and we thank everyone for their support.

MAREK BILECKI
Chairman of the Butterfly
Hospice Trust
