Garden party celebrates anniversary in Swineshead

Monday, 12am - A GARDEN party has been held at Harlock's Almshouses in Swineshead to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
Residents from the bungalows were joined by friends for the celebrations which included a special tree planting.
Chairman of Harlock's Memorial Charity Bungalows Hilda Gilding was joined by Pauline Gould, great niece of the Harlock's, to plant the tree at the entrance to the properties.
The fun continued in the gardens with a marquee and buffet.
