Wednesday, 9.50am -POTENTIALLY 70 people's roles will change – but that does not necessarily mean job losses.
That is the message from Gary Pile, general manager of Exotic Farm Produce, who says the Kirton firm is going through a process of 'restructuring the business'.

Mr Pile said he held a meeting with employees on Thursday, which marked the start of a 30-day consultation process.

"The bottom line is I am expecting minimum impact at the Kirton site," he added. "I am hoping that most people will embrace the change."

The fresh produce business, which has its base in London Road, employs around 400 people. However Mr Pile said this is open to seasonal changes.
