Thursday, 2pm - A large quantity of ketamine, insulin, morphine and diazapan has been stolen in Boston.
Police are now warning Boston people regarding the dangers of prescription drugs which were stolen in a burglary in the Tattershall Road area on Tuesday night.
The drugs are used to treat a long term illness. However, taken by anyone other than
the person they are prescribed for could be very dangerous, possibly fatal.
The drugs were a large quantity of ketamine, insulin, morphine and diazapan. Police fear the drugs could be sold on locally and are appealing to anyone living locally with knowledge of their whereabouts to call in.
PC Stuart Adams from Boston CID said, "These are very dangerous drugs and we have serious concerns that in the wrong hands, they could prove fatal."
PC Adams continued, "We are anxious to trace the whereabouts of a large quantity of pills and tablets which, although were stolen in boxes and jars, could be sold on by the strip or even individually.
"We would advise anyone approached to purchase any suspicious pills or tablets to refuse the offer and report it to the police immediately," he said.
Anyone with information should contact Boston CID on 01205 312235 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
