Wednesday, 5.10pm - MELANIE Marshall's Olympics are over.
Mel and her 4x100m freestyle teammates missed out on a place in tomorrow's final after they finished fifth in their heat - more than two seconds behind fourth-placed USA.

This means Wrangle swimmer Mel - whose 4x100m freestyle team finished seventh - has finished her competitions in Beijing.
