Wednesday, 8.20am - BOSTON Town turned on the style to beat Sleaford 4-2 in their first derby day of the campaign.
This may have been just the second game of the UCL Premier Division season, but the Poachers and Sleaford put on one of the most entertaining matches you are likely tom see in the area for the next nine months.

Each of the home side's four goals w
ere delights to watch.

Mark Foster gave Town a 1-0 lead at the interval after he thumped home from distance.

He cut in from the wing, beating three defenders on his way.

However, Matt Kennedy went one better after the break.

Picking the ball up in his own half the pacy wide man cut inside, rounding four helpless Sleaford opponents before clipping home.

The game was then marred with controversy as Kennedy, on the floor following a headed attempt at goal, was blatantly stamped on by an opposing defender.

The referee's back was turned, although Kennedy's reaction saw him yellow carded.

This decision took the wind out of Town's sails and Sleaford pulled a goal back following a fortunate rebound off the post.

However, Gary Bull restored the two-goal advantage with another of his spectacular finishes.

Inside the Sleaford box, but with his back to goal, Bull turned and curled the ball perfectly into the top corner.

But back came the visitors, and a second goal was headed home moments later.

However, Town had the last laugh.

Another darting Kennedy run saw the ball put low across the face of goal where teenager Liam Ogden - more than 20 years Bull's junior - slammed home with a neat finish.
